Housing Foundation of America, Inc. is hosting a virtual realtor event to take place on Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET.  Realtors can get a better understanding of the services HFA has to offer as well as the different programs available to First Time Home Buyers in Guilford, Davidson and Forsyth Counties.  The event will take place using Zoom.

The realtor event is designed to assist real estate professionals to obtain information on the different financial assistance programs available to North Carolina residents who are looking to purchase their first home. Realtors will be given the opportunity to interact with different administrators of various programs.

HFA provides its homebuyer counseling and education programs through virtual platforms and telephone.  Potential home buyers are given a personal budget and steps to take to become mortgage ready.  "We are excited to be able to offer the event in collaboration with BB&T now Truist and Freddie Mac and the potential to reach even more residents in the three counties through this realtor event", said Jeremy Montanti, HFA’s Executive Director. "With the rates being low, home buying has not slowed down due to the pandemic.  There are some very good programs available and increasing access to them will lead to an increase in the homeownership rate and improve the lives of so many families and individuals while maintaining affordability".
